The Skipping Girl Vinegar Sign Restoration Project

The old girl who never ages, the landmark Skipping Girl will be brought back to life.

The famous illuminated sign has been a part of Melbourne since 1936, but broke down in 2001 because of electrical and structural problems.

The sign's frame will be repaired and its electronics will be rebuilt. Delta Neon will install brand new neon tubing to restore her to her former glory.

Money was raised by the National Trust of Australia, Heritage Victoria, Melbourne Heritage Restoration Fund and energy firm AGL, Australia’s largest integrated renewable energy company, who will provide annual maintenance funding and energy to power "Little Audrey" with AGL Green Energy, which is the retailer’s 100% GreenPower accredited product, over the next five years.

Delta Neon are proud to be a part of restoring this landmark, giving the old girl some much needed TLC and bringing back much treasured memories of "Little Audrey" happily skipping away over Melbourne's skyline.
